Cruelty-free brushes (brushes made without using real animal hair) have come such a long way over the past decade - they used to lack in quality compared to traditional professional high-end natural hair brushes. Fortunately, this synthetic brushes have improved by leaps and bounds - and I now find myself routinely gravitating towards using cruelty-free brushes over my natural hair brushes due to their superior quality, enhanced blending ability, and heightened antibacterial properties. These brushes are the perfect amount of density for blending (not too dense to the point where too much pigment is taken into the brush filaments, and no too sparse leading to blending complications), and are a great addition to anyone’s makeup haul that does not have a cruelty-free brush set of their own yet.
